Job summary

Careernet is seeking a Network Engineer to monitor and support our 24x7 network operations center. You will identify service-impacting events, perform remote troubleshooting, and coordinate with ISPs and internal teams to restore services within timelines.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in network operations, hands-on experience with L1 troubleshooting, and familiarity with Windows/Linux, DNS, AD, IIS, and monitoring tools such as Nagios, SolarWinds, Jira, and Splunk.

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of experience in network operations, infrastructure operations, or a technology operations center.
• Hands-on experience in network engineering or network operations center support within a 24x7 technology operations environment.
• Working knowledge of network L1 troubleshooting, infrastructure monitoring, and operational incident management.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments, DNS, Active Directory, and IIS.
• Experience using monitoring and ticketing platforms such as Nagios, SCOM, SolarWinds, Splunk, AppDynamics, BMC Patrol, ServiceNow, or Jira.
• Experience with ITIL-based incident and problem management.

Responsibilities
