Job summary

Merck Group in Bengaluru is seeking a meticulous technical writer to coordinate scientific documentation projects, preparing user guides, letters, and templates while supporting branding and content standardization.

You will collaborate with geographically distributed teams, manage multiple assignments, and ensure clarity of scientific information, using MS Word and InDesign when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing or editing scientific, technical, or product documentation.
• Published research papers in indexed journals.
• Familiarity with document templates, content management, or document rebranding activities.
• Interest in Life science products and the ability to understand and communicate scientific information clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with geographically remote teams.
• Meticulous and can handle multiple assignments.
• MSc in Life Science or Chemistry or related fields.
• Up to 1 year of technical writing experience.

Responsibilities

Your Role

Who You Are

• Experience in preparing or editing scientific, technical, or product documentation.
• Published research papers in indexed journals.

• Interest in Life science products and the ability to understand and communicate scientific information clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to get along well with others and work in a team environment; includes the ability to work with geographically remote teams and/or projects.
• Meticulous and can handle multiple assignments.
• University post-graduate degree: MSc in Life science, Chemistry or related fields like Biotechnology, Biochemistry, etc.
• Up to 1 year of technical writing experience.

This role requires working in the afternoon shift- 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
