Job summary

UPL Ltd. in Pune, India, seeks an Analyst - PTP (Bill Process) to manage end-to-end accounts payable tasks and ensure timely invoice processing. You will handle prepayments, vendor inquiries, reconciliations, and month-end activities within the P2P department.

The role requires SAP experience, solid accounting basics, and strong Excel skills. MBA in Finance is preferred, with capability to coordinate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Invoice Processing in VIM.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to verify invoices comply with standard policies and procedures.
• Responsible for processing prepayments and following up on prepaid invoices.
• Handle statements and vendor inquiries including vendor reconciliations.
• Assist AP subledger close and other month-end activities; month-end processes.
• Identify invoice and purchase order discrepancies and propose solutions.
• Ensure monthly checklists are completed and signed off by Senior Accountant.
• Assist with resolution of discrepancies hindering timely invoice processing.
• Follow up on match exceptions and coordinate with Business.
• Follow up on open Purchase Orders and invoices on hold.
• Check GRIR to ensure invoice presence; delete duplicates if required.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable operations.
• Review and update SOP and act as SME for team.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Invoice Processing in VIM
