The WFA Analyst II Representative is responsiblefor providing resolution on associate inquiries that are beyond the routinelevel of complexity. The WFA Analyst IIwill research the issue and take appropriateaction toresolve or further upscale the issue to resolution. Theposition is specialized in policies and processes supporting HR functionaltransactional work and has an in-depth understanding of established policiesand programs within HR. TheWFA Analyst II Representative will work under direction of the WFA AssistantManager to ensure HR service delivery is consistently high-quality, andcollaborates with Centers of Expertise (COEs), external Tier II (Payroll andHRIS) and Third-Party providers,when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Performance Reporting & Insights
- Exercisemastery of all Tier WFA Analyst I function
- Assistwith cross-training and shadowing for WFA Tier I development
- Troubleshootquestions from field HR representatives and partnering HROC servicegroups regarding Lawson/GHR system,new hire actions, payroll information, andlicensure/certifications.
- Facilitatelicense updates in Lawson/GHR on behalf of HCA’s third-partyvendor, License Manager Pro.
- Overseeand adhere to file maintenancestandards in conjunctionwith employee file documentmatrix.
- Provideimmediate, timely, efficient support to HR staff during surveyor audits(IE: Joint Commission) by retrieving documentation, reviewinginformation to coordinate historical record and compile into SurveyTemplate.
- Assistmanagerial staff with employee actions when needed. This includes but isnot limited to: terminations, payroll adjustments, internal transfers, onetimepayments and status changes.
- Inalignment with leadership andorganizational development initiative, review all HCA changes and newposition maintenance requests for approval or denial.
- ProvideFMLA and leave of absence informationto a third-party vendor (Sedgwick, Prudential, etc.) for all HCAemployees when requested.
- Facilitate‘second-day’ entry of licensure and education, as well as uploadbackground checks and drug screens appropriately for all hired HCAemployees.
- Acceptand complete data entry upon receipt of certification renewals via caseticket from Employees, Managers, HRBPs, etc.
- Managealternate rate entry and edits in Lawson/GHR upon receipt of request andapproval from Compensation COE
- Provideexcellent customer service by responding to online inquiries fromemployees and managers at all levels and resolve issues accessingmultiple systems on the computer.
Operational Support & ProcessImprovement
- AppliesAgile methodologies and continuous process improvement practices,including Lean, Six Sigma, and other frameworks, to evaluate workflows,identify inefficiencies and root causes, prioritize opportunities, andimplement sustainable process and service delivery improvements.
- Leveragesadvanced analytics (e.g., predictive modeling, machine learning, datamining, prescriptive analysis, visualization), artificial intelligence(AI), and emerging technologies to forecast trends, generate actionableinsights, automate and streamline processes, expand self-servicecapabilities, and identify innovative solutions that enhance theemployee, candidate, and HR user experience.
- Mapcurrent workflows, document procedures, and recommend improvements thatreduce manual effort and improve cycle time, quality, or service.
- Trackoperational action items, follow through on open issues, and coordinatewith stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Supportimplementation of new tools, reporting enhancements, process controls,or business initiatives through testing, documentation, and adoptionactivities.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partnerwith WFA Analyst I, Compensation COE, Payroll Service Center, HRBusiness Partners, Managers, Employees, Sedgwick, PreCheckand other HROCService Groups.
Data Quality, Governance &Compliance
- WFAAnalysts will utilize Atlas, Trinisys,GHR, Lawson, Case Management, Kronos, Sedgwick ViaOne,License Manager Pro, Outlook Mailboxes and adhere to internal policies,confidentiality standards, and documentation requirements while handlingbusiness information and sensitive data.
