Job summary

Apex Group in All Locations is seeking an Associate to support book-keeping, accounting data capture, and preparation of primary statements across IFRS/US GAAP.

You will analyze bank transactions, invoices, and payroll related entries, and assist in trial balance finalization and management accounts reporting.

We value accuracy, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced global finance team.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA (Finance) or CFA qualification.
• 0–5 years of accounting experience; IFRS/US GAAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receipt of data for book-keeping and primary statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flows).
• Analyze bank transactions and process on accounting platform/excel.
• Process invoices, expenses and other transactions.
• Understand accrued/prepaid expenses, FAR & revaluations.
• Track cash, capital and dividend movements.
• Reconcile AP & AR (intercompany).
• Assist with trial balance finalization.
• Prepare/report periodic management accounts across GAAPs, IFRS/US GAAP.
• Payroll accounting, posting journals & VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Resolve queries from Onshore, Client, Auditor, Director.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements, namely – P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash-flows & notes as appropriate.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing them on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations.
• Understanding of cash, capital & Dividend movements
• Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions)
• Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
• Preparation & reporting of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries & VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Qualification And Experience

• Qualification- CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in Accounting/Finance
• Experience of 0-5 years in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP is preferred)
