Job summary

Apex Group is a global fund administration and accounting services provider seeking an Associate to join our accounting team. You will assist in preparing P&L, balance sheets, cash flows and notes, and support IFRS/US GAAP reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires 0–5 years of accounting experience, CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA or equivalent, and proficiency with Excel. We value accuracy, problem-solving, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA or finance qualification required.
• 0-5 years accounting experience, IFRS/US GAAP preferred.
• Experience with payroll, VAT/GST is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash flows and notes.
• Analyze bank transactions and process in accounting platform.
• Process invoices, expenses and other transactions.
• Reconcile AP/AR and inter-company transactions.
• Assist with trial balance finalization.
• Prepare periodic management accounts in IFRS/US GAAP.
• Handle payroll accounting and VAT/GST calculations.
• Respond to queries from Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements, namely – P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash-flows & notes as appropriate.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing them on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations.
• Understanding of cash, capital & Dividend movements
• Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions)
• Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
• Preparation & reporting of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries & VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Qualification And Experience

• Qualification- CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in Accounting/Finance
• Experience of 0-5 years in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP is preferred)
