Job summary

UST is seeking a skilled CX Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud-based customer experience features across the full DevOps lifecycle. You will own on-call L3 support for critical CX applications and drive automation to improve efficiency.

The role requires hands-on AWS, Lex Bot, and IVR experience, plus familiarity with chat and voice bots, AI integrations, and API workflows. Collaboration with architects and PMs in an Agile setting is essential.

Qualifications

• 4-7 yrs hands-on with AWS services & CaaS platforms.
• 2+ yrs: contact flow development, Lex BOT, Chat/Voice BOTs, routing, and reporting.
• 2+ yrs: AWS integrations - Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, EC2, CloudFront, IAM, third-party APIs.
• CI/CD pipeline experience on AWS or Azure; strong monitoring & deployment automation skills.
• Familiarity with Voice, IVR, Chat, SMS/WhatsApp, conversational AI, and sentiment analysis.
• AWS Certification preferred.
• Bachelor's/Master's in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to provide L3 application support and openness to learn new domains and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support CX cloud features across the full DevOps lifecycle.
• Own implementation and L3 support of business-critical applications (including on-call).
• Conduct root cause analyses and coordinate hotfixes for production incidents.
• Automate manual operations and champion process efficiency improvements.
• Prototype and integrate Gen AI capabilities (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering) into CX workflows.
• Collaborate with architects, PMs, and engineers via design/code reviews in an agile team.
