Qualifications

• Experience in Automotive Paint Shop and processes.
• Experience in Production/Manufacturing Engineering for Paint Shop equipment.
• Plan installation/modification for new model introduction in Paint shop.
• Prepare spec sheets, equipment orders, P&I drawings checks, installation & punch point countermeasures.
• Prepare equipment installation and modification plan and schedule.
• Knowledge of painting processes, quality and appearance parameters.
• Knowledge of Paint materials (Primer, Base, Clear, Thinners).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/NX for drawing creation.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Automotive Paint Shop and processes in daily tasks.
• Work on Production/Manufacturing Engineering for Paint Shop equipment like top coat booth, oven, sealer line.
• Study facilities and install/modify for new model introductions in Paint shop.
• Create spec sheets, place equipment orders, review P&I drawings, manage installation & countermeasures.
• Plan and schedule equipment installation and modifications.
• Apply knowledge of painting processes, quality, and appearance parameters to ensure standards.
• Handle Paint materials like Primer, Base, Clear, Thinners and related issues.
• Utilize AutoCAD/NX for drawings as required.

• Knowledge of Automotive Paint Shop and processes.
• Working experience in Production Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering for Paint Shop equipment like Top coat booth, oven, sealer line and work area.
• Facility study and installation/ modification for introduction of New model in Paint shop
• Spec sheet making, equipment order, P&I drawings check, Installation & Punch point countermeasure.
• Prepare equipment installation and modification plan and schedule.
• Painting Process, Quality and appearance parameters knowledge
• Paint material (Primer, Base, Clear, Thinners) knowledge
• Knowledge of Auto CAD/ NX for drawing making

Preferred candidate profile

• Working experience in Automobile Paint Shop (preferably OEM)
• Experience of Paint shop Production Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering

• Willingness to work during holidays, shutdown & night shifts
• Handle work pressure
