Job summary

Black Box seeks an experienced Senior Network Engineer / Technical SME for Telco switching and routing. The role demands deep Juniper and Cisco telco-grade expertise and 10–12 years in large telecom environments, ready to lead deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization for carrier-grade networks in Delhi NCR or Mumbai.

You will implement and deploy carrier-grade infrastructure, install and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper devices, perform migrations, and produce MOPs, HLDs and reports.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in large telecom environments.
• Hands-on Juniper and Cisco telco-grade routing and switching.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting carrier-grade networks.
• Installation and commissioning on Cisco/Juniper routers and switches.
• Knowledge of MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EVPN-VXLAN.
• Travel to customer sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and deployment of carrier-grade network infrastructure.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper routers and switches.
• Execute network migration, commissioning, and acceptance activities.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolution of complex network issues.

• Prepare MOPs, HLDs, LLDs, and implementation reports.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support pre-sales and solution validation when required.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer / Technical SME with deep expertise in Juniper and Cisco Telco-Grade Switching & Routing technologies. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working in large telecom environments and should be capable of leading deployment, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization activities for carrier-grade networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and deployment of carrier-grade network infrastructure.


• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper routers and switches.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Juniper and Cisco Routing & Switching technologies.


• Minimum 7–8 years of experience in a large Telecom/Telco environment.


• Proven experience in implementing and supporting Telco-Grade Networks.


• Hands-on installation and commissioning experience on carrier-grade routers and switches from Cisco and Juniper.

Educational Qualification
