Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our Navi Mumbai team. The role requires 8-10 years of hands-on experience in networking, with focus on service provider routing and switching, and multi-vendor environments including Cisco, Huawei, and Nokia.

You will prepare MOP/NIP for migrations, software upgrades, provisioning, and ensure successful production execution in complex networks. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on networking experience in SP and routing/switching.
• Must have hands-on experience preparing MOP/NIP for migrations, upgrades, provisioning and production execution.
• Experience on Service Provider routing/switching projects (planning, integration, migration, operations).
• Experience with multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Huawei, Nokia).
• Familiarity with SP/RTN concepts, QoS, BFD, CEF and IP SLA.
• Knowledge of IPv6 addressing and IPv6 routing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MOP/NIP for network migrations, software upgrades, and provisioning in production.
• Lead planning, integration, migration, and operations for SP routing and switching projects.
• Work across multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Huawei, Nokia) and various platforms (XE/XR/Nexus).
• Identify gaps and propose automation solutions to improve network reliability.
• Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders; document configurations and runbooks.

Skills:

- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Networking domain (Service Provider and Routing, Switching) - Must have hands-on experience on preparing the MOP/NIP's for Network migration, software upgrade, complaince and provisioning, and executing them in the production network - Must have hands on experience on Service Provider / Routing and Switching projects (Planning/Integration/Migration/Operations) :

• Static Routing, IGP (ISIS, OSPF)
• BGP (iBGP, eBGP, mBGP),
• MPLS (L2VPN and L3VPN), LDP, QoS, Multicast Routing
• SR-TE, SR-PCE
• BFD, CEF, RLFA
• IPv6 (Addressing, understanding of Pv6 ISIS, OSPFv3).
• Layer 2 Technologies: VLAN, VTP, STP (CSTP,PVSTP, RSTP, MSTP)
• IP Services: FHRP (HSRP, VRRP), DHCP, IP SLA,NTP, PTP, Synchronization, SNMP, Syslog.
• Security: Basic AAA Services, Port security, DHCP Security, Zone-Based Firewall

- Must have hands on experience on various Cisco platforms such "XE, XR, Nexus" and third party "Huawei and Nokia" devices. Experience on Cisco ACI/FX/ASA platforms is a plus.

- Must have experience on some of the below Cisco Devices:

• Switches - Cat 9200,9300,9400,9500,
• Nexus - N9K/7K/5K/3K/2K
• Routers - ASR901/920/903, ASR1K/9K, ISR4K, ISRG2, NCS540/560/5K, ASR9K -

Experience/Knowledge on multi-vendor environment of R&S, Service Provider, Security, Firewalls and DC/Nexus technologies.
