Job summary

HR Potential Search is seeking an experienced professional in the Automotive industry for RM planning and procurement roles in Haryana. The candidate will manage raw material planning, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely release of POs and delivery schedules.

The role also involves maintaining inventory levels, MIS reporting to the Head of Department, and developing alternate sources. Import coordination, budgeting, and cost control are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in engineering with MBA or equivalent in supply chain/ops.
• Experience in planning, procurement, and supplier coordination.
• Knowledge of import clearance and RMIS-like systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• RM planning for designated Raw Materials
• Maintain inventory levels per plan
• Release purchase orders and delivery schedules; follow up with suppliers
• Prepare monthly MIS for HOD for allocated RM
• Develop new vendors / alternate sources
• Coordinate with Imports clearance team to clear imports
• Coordinate with Finance on LC opening and docs for imports
• Minimize port expenses and truck detention
• Resolve technical and commercial issues with suppliers
• Prepare quarterly strategy notes for allocated items
• Annual/quarterly budgeting of allocated RM

JOb role-

• RM planning for designated Raw Materials
• Maintaining the inventory levels as per plan.
• Releasing Purchase order, delivery schedules, follow up with suppliers and keeping a track of dispatches.
• Monthly MIS to HOD for the allocated RM
• New vendor development / Alternate source.
• GLobal procurement - Clearing of Imports by coordinating with Imports clearance team.
• Updating Raw Material Information system on time.
• Coordination with Finance team on matter related to LC opening and Original Set of documents for Imported consignments.
• Minimize the extra port expenses and truck detention charges
• Resolving the technical and commercial issues with the suppliers.
• Preparing Quarterly Strategy Note for allocated items for each quarter.
• Annual / Quarterly Budgeting of the allocated RM.
