Job summary

Sona Blw Precision Forgings is seeking a proactive Materials/Procurement specialist to manage import and procurement activities across global locations. You will ensure timely availability of materials, release delivery schedules, and track consignments, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires knowledge of MRP systems, TS 16949 QMS and Ford/Nissan requirements, plus strong Excel, PowerPoint and ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
• TS 16949 QMS, Ford Q1, Nissan ASES system requirements
• Adequate knowledge on use of computers, Excel, PPT, ERP
• Imports & Domestic Supplier Handling

• Import materials for global locations
• Release of delivery schedules
• Global locations new program materials availability - handling from global suppliers.
• Follow up of supplies & Tracking consignments
• Schedule Vs Actual of Delivery rating of vendors
• Ensuring availability of materials on time
• Arranging of sorting of materials required for production
• Return of rejection

Key Performance Indicators:

• No Production stoppage due to material shortage
• Inventory control Adherence to norms
• Supplier Delivery performance / Adherence
• Charge back of suppliers for Rejections & Re-work
• No Premium freight cost for in-bound materials
