Job summary

DMart Projects is seeking a Civil Execution-Assistant to oversee on-site civil construction for DMart retail stores, malls and warehouses. You will ensure execution per drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project schedules while coordinating with architects, consultants, vendors and contractors.

You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, monitor timelines, control costs, uphold safety standards, and prepare progress reports to ensure timely delivery of retail openings.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech Civil degree required.
• 4–8 years of relevant civil execution experience.
• Experience with retail construction projects (stores, malls, warehouses).
• Ability to coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors and contractors.
• Strong on-site leadership with focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with liaisoning team for inspections, approvals, and clearances.
• Resolve site-level technical issues and provide practical construction solutions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and MIS.
• Manage execution of structural, finishing, and external development works.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of services.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards and specifications for retail fit-outs.
• Support handover, snag closure, and final completion of projects.

Lead Civil Execution

• 1. Execute, and monitor civil construction activities for retail projects including stores, malls, and warehouses
• 2. Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project schedules
• 3. Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and contractors for smooth site execution.
• 4. Manage site teams, subcontractors, and daily construction activities to meet quality and safety standards.
• 5. Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion as per retail opening schedules.
• 6. Control project costs by effective material planning, wastage control, and budget tracking.
• 7. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, local building by-laws, and safety norms.
