Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd. is seeking a Civil (Dy. Mgr/Asst. Mgr/Engineer) to lead planning, scheduling and on-site supervision of steel plant construction projects. The role requires coordinating design, budgets, and contracts while reporting progress to Management.

The ideal candidate will design plans using CAD, manage multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality compliance, and generate engineering reports and change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil/Construction Engineering required.
• 3–8+ years construction experience, steel plant construction must.
• Proficiency in CAD software, modelling tools, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate project strategy and design; manage budgets and contracts.
• Analyze survey data to design structural plans using CAD.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Supervise on-site, troubleshoot technical issues, ensure safety and quality.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, change orders, and approval documents.

CIVIL (Dy. Mgr/Asst. Mgr/Engineer)

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
• Experience: Proven experience as a construction engineer or similar role in civil (typically 3 to 8+ years) construction. experience in steel plant construction is must.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD), modelling tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong mathematical skills for calculating costs, loads, and material requirements.
• Leadership/Communication: Ability to manage teams, coordinate subcontractors, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Capability to address on-site challenges and unforeseen issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Experience:- Planning, scheduling and coordinating the project strategy and design, reporting progress and budget matters to the Management. Preparing and negotiating timetables, cost estimates, budgets and contracts managing the construction process, supervising all activity on-site, responding to delays.
• Planning and Design: Analyze survey reports, maps, and geological data to design structural plans using CAD software.
• Project Management: Develop project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates for labor and materials.
• On-Site Supervision: Monitor construction progress, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, and stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
• Compliance & Risk: Ensure compliance with environmental, zoning, and safety regulations while performing risk assessments.
• Documentation: Prepare engineering reports, change orders, and approval documents.
