Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Univariety, part of the Info Edge group, seeks an outbound outreach professional to contact alumni for mentorships, referrals, and campaigns. You will manage calls, emails, and WhatsApp conversations, aiming to convert interest into commitments while logging progress in CRM.
Expect 60–80 conversations weekly, with some calls during UK/US/Gulf hours. A graduate with strong English and local language skills is preferred, and CRM discipline is essential.
Univariety, part of the Info Edge group (Naukri.com, Jeevansathi, Shiksha), runs alumni programmes for schools and colleges such as Dhirubhai Ambani International School, DPS, Ryan International, Oakridge, SP Jain and Goa Institute of Management.
Our platform finds and organises a schools alumni. This team turns that list into results. When a school needs 20 alumni mentors for its Class 12 students, or a college wants alumni to open doors at their companies, you are the person who calls, follows up and gets the commitment.
You speak on the institution’s behalf to doctors in London, founders in Bengaluru and engineers in the Bay Area. None of them owe us their time, so this job is about warmth, persistence and making a busy person want to help.
Most of your week is spent on calls. Expect 60–80 alumni conversations by phone, WhatsApp and video, working from a shortlist we give you.
Some calls run in UK, US and Gulf evening hours, so expect a late shift on a few days a month.
Your scorecard is commitments delivered, not calls made.
Backgrounds that tend to do well here: recruiters (especially from staffing firms, RPOs and executive search), edtech admissions or academic counsellors, college placement officers, inside sales or customer success people who prefer relationships to hard closing, and strong freshers who ran alumni meets, college fests or campus-ambassador programmes.
The whole process takes about a week.
1. Screening call, 15 minutes: your outreach experience, your numbers and why you want this role.
2. Role-play, 10 minutes: we play a busy alumnus in London and you get him to mentor a Class 12 student.
3. Work sample, 30 minutes: write a WhatsApp opener and a follow-up email for an alumnus who hasn’t replied.
4. Final conversation: with the Outcomes lead and the COO.
