Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Civil Engineer to work on metro alignment projects in Bengaluru, with 2–5 years’ experience in alignment design for metros and railways. You will contribute to surface creation, template development, and collaboration across disciplines to deliver robust civil designs.

The role emphasizes hands-on modelling using Civil 3D and OpenRail, earthwork calculations, and active participation in a culturally diverse project delivery environment to achieve design excellence.

Qualifications

• Education qualification - B.Tech Civil & M.Tech (Preferable).
• Years of experience - 2-5 in alignment design for metro and railways.
• Excellent written and oral English communication; ability to work in diverse teams.

Missions/Main Duties

• Surface Creation & Horizontal and Vertical Alignment.
• Cross section Template preparation in Civil 3D and Open rail.
• Earthwork calculation through software and corridor modelling as well and other Misc works which is required for detailed design of metro Projects.

Profile/Skills

• Education qualification - B.Tech Civil & M.Tech (Preferable)
• Years of experience -2-5
• Prior experience requirement - Alignment Design for Metro and Conventional Railways
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
• Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter
