Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Air Ticketing Executive based in Jaipur. The Air Ticketing Executive will handle domestic and international flight bookings, issue and reissue tickets, manage cancellations, and process refunds in alignment with airline policies. The role includes coordinating with customers to understand their travel requirements, providing fare options, and ensuring accurate entry of passenger and travel details. The Executive will work with global distribution systems (GDS) or airline portals, verify itineraries, and maintain records of bookings and transactions. Daily responsibilities also include responding to customer queries, resolving ticketing-related issues, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth travel arrangements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in air ticketing operations, including booking, rebooking, cancellations, and refunds using airline systems or GDS tools (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain fare rules, travel options, and ticket conditions to clients.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling passenger information, travel dates, and payment details, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Basic understanding of airline fare structures, routes, and travel regulations, with the ability to learn and apply company and airline policies.
• Comfort with computer-based work, including using reservation systems, email, and standard office software.
• Prior experience in ticketing, travel agency work, or the aviation/travel industry is an advantage.
• Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a degree or certificate in travel and tourism or a related field is beneficial.
