Job summary

Nayak Aviation Services is seeking an experienced air freight operations professional in Chennai to manage end-to-end shipments from origin to destination. You will coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance.

You will verify packaging, labeling, and handling of dangerous goods per DGR requirements, while collaborating with supply chain teams to optimize schedules and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end air freight operations from origin to destination, coordinating with airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely shipment movement and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) by verifying proper packaging, labeling, documentation, marking, and handling of dangerous goods in accordance with applicable aviation safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to develop effective logistics plans, coordinate shipment schedules, optimize cargo movement, and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners to minimize delays, control transportation costs, and ensure reliable delivery of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end air freight operations from origin to destination, coordinating with airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely shipment movement and delivery. Monitor shipment status, resolve operational issues, and maintain accurate shipping documentation.


• Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) by verifying proper packaging, labeling, documentation, marking, and handling of dangerous goods in accordance with applicable aviation safety standards and regulatory requirements.


• Collaborate with supply chain teams to develop effective logistics plans, coordinate shipment schedules, optimize cargo movement, and improve operational efficiency.
