Job summary

Praxair India Private Limited, Bangalore, on-site, Regular / Permanent / FTE, seeks an AI & Digital Hub Leader to build and scale a premier AI hub. You will lead a cross-functional team across AI, data, software, product, and adoption, driving the global AI portfolio and delivering business value.

With 10+ years of experience and a master’s in IT or MBA, you will shape roadmaps, govern delivery, and collaborate with regional and global teams to accelerate growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• 10 years or more relevant experience with a master's in information technology or in business administration.
• Certifications in AI and business transformation are beneficial.
• Proven experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing tech, AI, or shared-services organizations.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and scale the Bengaluru AI Hub as a global AI capability centre.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team across AI, data, software engineering, product, commercial and adoption functions.
• Drive expansion of Linde’s AI and digital product portfolio, delivering measurable business value.
• Lead hub growth through workforce planning, talent acquisition, capability development, and organizational design.
• Partner with global leaders to define priorities, shape roadmaps, and realize value.
• Oversee portfolio governance, delivery disciplines, and performance metrics to ensure scalability.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role you will build, lead, and significantly scale the Bengaluru AI Hub, establishing it as a strategic global AI capability center
• Further you will lead a multidisciplinary team across AI, data, software engineering, product, commercial, and adoption functions
• Furthermore, you will drive the expansion and evolution of Linde’s global AI and digital product portfolio, delivering business value at scale
• Furthermore, you will drive hub growth through workforce planning, talent acquisition, capability development, organizational design, and succession planning
• Thereafter you will partner with global business and functional leaders to define priorities, shape product roadmaps, and deliver measurable business value
• Moreover, you will lead a portfolio of AI and digital initiatives, ensuring execution against strategic objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Further you will optimize resource allocation across competing priorities, balancing business demand, capacity, and investment
• Additionally, you will oversee local management and administrative operations for the Bengaluru AI Hub, covering finance, procurement, safety, office administration, and technology support
• Furthermore, you will establish governance, delivery disciplines, and performance metrics to drive scalability, and value realization. Foster a culture of innovation, agility and continuous improvement
• Thereafter you will collaborate closely with Operating Segment Digital Teams and global IT teams to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, and operational standards
• Moreover, you will build strong relationships with external partners, universities, and industry ecosystems to support innovation and growth
• Additionally, you will operate effectively within a complex global matrix organization, leading distributed teams across geographies and time zones

• For this you should have proven experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing organizations through periods of rapid growth
• Further you should have proven experience building and scaling sizeable technology, AI, digital, GCC, or shared-services organizations, ideally with responsibility for teams of significant scale.Strong people leadership skills with a track record of attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
• Furthermore, you should have solid understanding of AI, data, digital technologies, and their business applications.
• Moreover, you should have experience with software product development, digital delivery, and modern operating models
• Further you should have strong program and portfolio management capabilities, leading complex cross-functional initiatives across regions and stakeholders
• Thereafter you should have demonstrated ability to prioritize investments, balance competing demands, and optimize resource allocation
• Additionally, you should have experience partnering with enterprise IT and digital functions on architecture, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance
• Further you have the ability to balance innovation and speed with sound governance, risk management, and security practices
• Furthermore, you should have strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across business and technology functions
• Moreover, you have a proven ability to establish credibility with senior leaders as well as technical experts
