Job summary

OneRoot is hiring Agronomists for multiple locations across India to drive contract farming, farmer extension, and the adoption of biological products. The role focuses on crop advisory, field troubleshooting, and managing farmer interactions.

We seek freshers and experienced candidates with a background in agriculture or agronomy, capable of extensive travel, and comfortable engaging with 50+ farmers. Two-wheeler and a valid driving licence are mandatory.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. Agriculture / Agronomy or related field is required or MBA Agribusiness is an advantage.
• Knowledge of agricultural sales, contract farming, FPOs, and biologicals preferred.
• Excellent public speaking and communication skills; comfortable engaging with 50+ farmers.

Responsibilities

• Drive contract farming, biological product adoption, and farmer extension.
• Manage farmer gatherings, crop advisory, and field troubleshooting.
