Gramik is seeking an Agronomist in Noida to provide crop-specific agronomy advice from sowing to harvest. You will perform regular farm visits, guide on seeds, fertilizers, irrigation, and crop nutrition, and address pests and diseases while collecting field data.

The role requires strong knowledge of Haryana crops, soil health, and soil testing, with extensive field travel and direct farmer interaction. Fluency in local dialect (Haryanvi) is essential.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. Agriculture / M.Sc. Agriculture / B.Tech Agriculture or equivalent qualification.
  • 1-5 years of experience in agronomy, crop advisory, farmer engagement, or agricultural field operations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of crops commonly grown in Haryana.
  • Good understanding of soil health, fertilizers, irrigation, pest management, and crop protection.
  • Experience in working directly with farmers will be preferred.
  • Comfortable with extensive field travel.

  • Conduct farmer meetings, training sessions, demonstrations, and awareness programs.
  • Work closely with the field sales and operations teams to support farmer engagement.
  • Support trials and demonstrations of seeds, fertilizers, crop protection products, and other agri-inputs.
  • Collect field-level data related to crop acreage, production, crop health, farmer issues, and market trends.
  • Prepare agronomy reports, farmer feedback reports, and field visit updates.
  • Build strong relationships with farmers and become a trusted agriculture advisor in the assigned region.
  • Stay updated with new agricultural technologies, crop practices, government schemes, and market developments.
  • Coordinate with agri-input companies, experts, and other agriculture ecosystem partners whenever required.

About the Role:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and field-oriented Agronomist to support farmers with scientific crop advisory, improve crop productivity, and strengthen our agricultural operations. The candidate will work closely with farmers, FPOs, field teams, agri-input partners, and other stakeholders.

A strong understanding of local crops, farming practices, soil conditions, pests, diseases, and agricultural inputs is essential.

Mandatory Requirement:
