SUIND in Bengaluru is seeking a Robotics Engineer to own the autonomy stack for aerial platforms, focusing on UAV navigation and perception for WASP.
You'll work on computer vision, localization, state estimation, sensor fusion and embedded compute pipelines; field testing and real-world debugging are key.
Collaborate with CTO and cross-functional teams as you move from prototype to product, with hands-on development on NVIDIA Jetson and ROS-based systems.
Location: Bengaluru (field testing travel)
Experience: 3-5 years (exceptional freshers considered)
Reports to: CTO
We are looking for a Robotics Engineer - UAV Autonomy & Perception to work on the core autonomy stack for our aerial platforms, especially WASP.
This role will involve computer vision, localisation, state estimation, UAV navigation, sensor integration, field testing and real-world debugging. You will work closely with the CTO and founding team on autonomy features that need to operate reliably on embedded compute platforms in outdoor environments.
This is a high-impact engineering role for someone who wants to build robotic systems that actually fly in the real world.
You will do well if you are technically strong, hands-on and not afraid of field failures. We are looking for someone who can move from theory to implementation to test flights to debugging - and repeat that cycle until the system works reliably. This is a role for builders, not just researchers.
At SUIND, you will work on technology that leaves the lab and operates in the real world.
Our drones are designed for environments that are complex, messy and high-value - farms, plantations, infrastructure sites, industrial assets, remote areas, security-sensitive zones and other places where reliable autonomous aerial systems can make a meaningful difference.
You will be part of a team building core autonomy, aerial robotics, embedded systems, field operations, manufacturing capability and commercial platforms from India for global-scale markets. The work is hard, interdisciplinary and deeply hands-on - but it is also meaningful.
