Job summary

Tekskills is seeking an Agile Architect in Noida, UP for a hybrid role. You will lead delivery teams across multi-vendor environments, architect container platforms, and guide migrations and modernization with OpenShift and Kubernetes.

You will engage directly with clients to understand requirements, map them to on-prem and cloud services, and ensure scalable, secure solutions. Strong communication and strategic thinking are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in customer-facing IT roles
• 5+ years in client-facing roles including assessments, designs and Day-2 Red Hat configurations
• Experience with at least one hyperscaler (Azure, AWS or GCP) or hosting provider
• Experience with another hypervisor (VMware, Azure Stack HCI or Hyper-V)
• Ability to perform architecture reviews for re-platforming and repatriation
• Experience across multiple cloud architecture layers: business management, self-service, orchestration, container, hyperscalers integration, hyperconverged platforms, networking
• Deep experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, AKS and GKE
• Strong project planning, estimation, risk management and MVP design
• Mapping client requirements to on-prem cloud services
• Proven leadership of delivery teams across multi-vendor environments
• Strong end-to-end container platform design, implementation, migration and modernization
• Client-facing expertise to align solutions with client pain points and industry
• Coordination with partners and stakeholders to derive solutions
• Promotion of innovation and modernization via design thinking and Agile

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and own end-to-end container platform solutions
• Drive implementation, migration and modernization efforts
• Participate in OpenShift implementations across on-prem, public and private clouds

• Right-size platforms based on business requirements and act as trusted advisor
• Coordinate with partners to derive optimal cloud-on-prem configurations

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in customer-facing IT roles with a Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of client-facing experience in:
  • Assessments, designs, and advanced Day-2 Red Hat configuration.
  • Cloud platforms, software-defined storage, container platforms, disaster recovery, monitoring, orchestration, microservices, and virtualization.
• Deployment and integration experience with at least one Hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) OR one hosting provider (e.g., Rackspace).
• Experience with at least one additional hypervisor platform (VMware, Azure Stack HCI, or Hyper-V).
• Advanced knowledge in performing architecture reviews for:
  • Re-platforming from one hypervisor to Red Hat platforms.
  • Repatriating workloads from a hyperscaler to on-premises Red Hat platforms.
• Extensive knowledge across at least five (5) cloud architecture layers:
  • Business Management
  • Self-Service Portal
  • Orchestration
  • Container
  • Integration with Hyperscalers
  • Hyperconverged Platforms
  • Networking (Micro-segmentation, Containerized Networking, Federation, IDS/IPS, Network Sandboxing, Global Advanced Load Balancing).
• Deep experience in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, EKS, AKS, and GKE.
• Strong experience in project planning: estimation, risk management, dependencies, and MVP design.
• Experience mapping client platform/application requirements into on-prem cloud services and configurations.
• Proven ability to lead delivery teams across multi-vendor environments in multiple countries.
• Strong experience in:
  • Designing, developing, and owning end-to-end technical container platform solutions.
  • Implementation, migration, and modernization efforts.
  • OpenShift implementations in on-prem, public cloud, and private cloud.
• Client-facing expertise:
  • Directly engaging with clients to solve complex business challenges.
  • Right-sizing platforms based on business requirements.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, understanding client pain points, and aligning solutions with their industry.
• Ability to coordinate with partners and stakeholders to derive solutions.
• Skilled at promoting innovation and modernization through:
  • Design thinking workshops.
  • Agile methodologies.

Preferred Technical & Professional Expertise

• Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift certifications.
• Strong analytical, creative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to provide suggestions and solutions for software development, use, and maintenance.
• Extensive experience in pre-sales, post-sales, and client presentations (orals).
