Job summary

Yotta Infrastructure in Greater Noida is seeking a seasoned IT infrastructure professional to design, deploy and manage Kubernetes platforms at scale for production workloads.

You will work hands-on with OpenShift and Rancher, Linux admin, container runtimes, security hardening, and implement backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

The role requires 8+ years in IT infra, 6+ years Kubernetes, plus relevant certifications and strong collaboration with DevOps and security teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT infrastructure/platform administration experience.
• 6+ years hands-on Kubernetes administration.
• Hands-on OpenShift and/or Rancher experience.
• Strong Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/Windows).
• Experience deploying production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Containerization using Docker or OCI runtimes.
• Kubernetes cluster installation, upgrades, scaling, and lifecycle management.
• HA cluster architecture and disaster recovery.
• Networking concepts: Ingress, Services, CNI, Load Balancers, DNS, and Service Mesh.
• Storage management: CSI, PV, PVC, Storage Classes, dynamic provisioning.
• RBAC, Identity Management, Secrets Management, TLS/SSL, and Kubernetes security hardening.
• Monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, logging with ELK/OpenSearch.
• Automation using Ansible, Helm, Kustomize, Terraform, or GitOps.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
• Install and manage OpenShift and/or Rancher platforms.
• Perform Kubernetes upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Configure namespaces, RBAC, quotas, policies, and multi-tenancy.
• Deploy and manage applications using Helm Charts and Operators.
• Configure networking, ingress controllers, service mesh, and load balancing.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for Kubernetes clusters.
• Monitor cluster health, capacity, and performance.
• Troubleshoot cluster, networking, storage, and application deployment issues.
• Implement Kubernetes security best practices and compliance standards.
• Automate cluster provisioning and operational tasks.
• Work with DevOps, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams for platform integration.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production incidents.
• Create architecture documents, SOPs, operational runbooks, and technical documentation.
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in 24x7 production support and on-call rotation.
