Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT architecture.
• 4+ years focused on cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.
• Proficient in configuration management and automation (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef).
• Strong Linux administration background.
• In-depth container networking and load balancing knowledge.
• OpenShift storage solutions like OpenShift Data Foundation/Ceph.
• 8+ years IT architecture with 4+ years cloud-native focus.
• RHCA or cloud architect certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage large-scale OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.
• Lead cloud-native architecture discussions and design decisions.
• Implement IaC and automation across platforms.
• Ensure secure and scalable container networking and storage.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver resilient cloud platforms.

Technical Expertise

Deploying, and managing large-scale Red Hat OpenShift (RHOCP) or native Kubernetes

• Containerization: Mastery of container technologies (Docker/Podman) and container runtime security.

Cloud Platforms: Expertise in one or more major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or on-premise virtualization/private cloud technologies (e.g., VMware, OpenStack).

• Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficient in configuration management and automation tools such as Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
• Operating Systems: Strong background in Linux administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux or similar).
• Networking: In-depth knowledge of container networking (CNI), software-defined networking, load balancing, and ingress/egress controls.
• Data and Storage: Experience with OpenShift storage solutions (e.g., OpenShift Data Foundation/Ceph) and integration with external enterprise storage.

8+ years of progressive experience in IT architecture, with 4+ years focused on cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.

• Certification in relevant technologies is highly desirable, such as:
• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), with a focus on OpenShift.
• AWS Certified Solution Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Architect.
