Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Mumbai seeks an experienced OpenShift/Containerization Architect to lead deployment, operation and optimization of OpenShift clusters. You will work on installation, configuration, administration and scaling to meet project needs, ensuring secure and efficient containerized applications.

You will collaborate with development teams, implement monitoring and logging, and drive upgrades to maintain security and stability across environments.

Must-Have

• Minimum 4 to 8 years of Hands-on OpenShift and containerization technologies Management with Technical Architect Skills.
• Expertise in Container orchestration.
• Knowledge of overall IT Architecture, Performance Tunning & High Availability.
• Expertise in scalability and performance optimization

Good-to-Have

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes Bank Domain, Servers, OS RHEL Monitoring tools knowledge.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1. In depth understanding of Kubernetes, docker concepts, architecture, and best practices
2. Proficiency in Redhat OpenShift including installation, configuration, and administration
3. Expertise in Configuring and maintaining OpenShift cluster and deploying based on project requirement.
4. Strong knowledge on Containerization technologies like docker and container runtime OpenShift Infrastructure Management including nodes, networking and storage.
5. Deep understanding of container network, service mesh and network policies within OpenShift/Kubernetes.
6. Expertise in securing containerized applications, implementing RBAC and managing security policies within OpenShift.
7. Experience integrating OpenShift into CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
8. Proficient in implementing monitoring and logging solutions for OpenShift clusters and applications.
9. Ability to design, optimize and scale OpenShift clusters for performance and resource efficiency.
10. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues within OpenShift environments.
11. Expertise in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana,
12. Upgrades and patching and applying patches to ensure the security and stability of OpenShift.
13. Creating and maintaining documentation for OpenShift configurations, processes and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirement and skills

1. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills for OpenShift related issues.
2. Relevant certifications such as Red Hat certified Specialist in OpenShift can be advantageous

4. Good documentation skills to maintain clear records of database structure, configurations, and procedures.
5. Familiarity with cloud platforms on AWS
6. Best practices to enhance reliability and efficiency.
