Job summary

Aequs Aerospace is looking for a dynamic Lead Engineer / Deputy Manager - Account & Program Management to manage aerospace customer programs and coordinate between customers and internal teams. You will oversee customer accounts, demand planning, forecasting, and program execution to ensure on-time, on-quality delivery.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and Logistics, manage risks, and support engineering changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, production or industrial engineering.
• 5–10 years in program/account management within aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• Experience with forecasts, demand planning and delivery management in aerospace.
• Exposure to aerostructures, engines or landing systems preferred.
• Familiar with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), Excel and Power BI.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and customer compliance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage aerospace customer accounts and act as interface between customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate forecasts, demand planning and production requirements.
• Drive program execution from order to delivery with on-time, on-quality delivery.
• Monitor milestones, schedules and customer commitments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and Logistics.
• Identify and mitigate program risks and escalations.
• Support change management and engineering revisions.
• Track KPIs, customer requirements and business performance.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and contracts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement for customer satisfaction and operations.

Job Description:

Aequs Aerospace is looking for a dynamic Lead Engineer / Deputy Manager - Account & Program Management to manage aerospace customer programs and drive seamless coordination between customers and internal teams. The role will be responsible for customer account management, demand planning, forecasting, program execution, and ensuring successful delivery of aerospace products while meeting quality, cost, and schedule commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage aerospace customer accounts and serve as a key interface between customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate customer forecasts, demand planning, and production requirements.
• Drive program execution from order receipt to delivery, ensuring on-time and on-quality performance.
• Monitor program milestones, delivery schedules, and customer commitments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Logistics teams.
• Identify and mitigate program risks, escalations, and delivery challenges.
• Support change management activities, engineering revisions, and customer modifications.
• Track program KPIs, customer requirements, and business performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 5-10 years of experience in Program Management, Account Management, Customer Program Management, Supply Chain, Production Planning, or Operations within Aerospace/Defense manufacturing.
• Experience handling aerospace customers, forecasts, demand planning, and delivery management.
• Exposure to Aerostructures, Engines, Landing Systems, Precision Components, or Aerospace Manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of production planning, supply chain, and customer engagement processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics tools.
• Knowledge of aerospace quality systems such as AS9100 and customer compliance requirements will be an added advantage.
