Job summary

Persistent is seeking an AEP AJO Developer in Bengaluru with 8–12 years of IT/digital marketing tech experience. You will build and manage XDM schemas, identity graphs, and real-time customer profiles, and design multi-step journeys using AEP/AJO.

You’ll implement personalization, integration tagging, and governance/privacy measures, collaborating across teams to optimize campaigns and data architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8–12 years of IT/digital marketing technology experience.
• Proficiency in AEP Real-Time CDP, AJO, XDM, SQL, JSON, and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Experience Data Model (XDM) schemas, identity graphs, and real-time customer profiles.
• Design, test, and execute multi-step customer journeys using event triggers, audience eligibility rules, and conditional logic.
• Implement dynamic content, templates, throttling, frequency capping, and Offer Decisioning for personalization.
• Utilize APIs, webhooks, JSON data transformations, and tag management systems like Adobe Launch.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and enterprise data governance.

About Position:

An AEP AJO Developer designs, builds, and manages real-time customer data pipelines and personalized omni-channel engagement workflows using the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). They bridge data governance, identity stitching, and targeted campaign delivery. AEP Data Management: Build and manage Experience Data Model (XDM) schemas, identity graphs, and real-time customer profiles.
Configure data sources, streaming/batch ingestion, and destinations .AJO Journey Orchestration: Design, test, and execute multi-step customer journeys using event triggers, audience eligibility rules, and conditional logic. Personalization Decisioning: Implement dynamic content, message templates (email, push, SMS, custom actions), throttling, frequency capping, and Offer Decisioning. Integration Tagging: Utilize APIs, webhooks, JSON data transformations, and tag management systems like Adobe Launch. Governance Privacy: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, consent management frameworks, and enterprise data governance.
Expertise You’ll Bring:

Strong hands-on expertise in AJO,AEP.
Relevant experience: Between 8 to 12 Years.
Experience: 3 to 9 years of relevant IT/digital marketing technology experience.Core Technical Stack: Hands-on proficiency in AEP Real-Time CDP, AJO, XDM, SQL, JSON, and REST APIs.Campaign Knowledge: Strong understanding of customer segmentation, event-driven architecture, and multi-channel marketing operations.Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
Educational background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, as relevant to the role.
