Job summary

Kiya.ai is seeking an ADP Payroll Consultant to configure, implement, test, and support payroll platforms (ADP Workforce Now, GlobalView, Vantage, or Celergo). You will collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate payroll processing, regulatory compliance, and timely processing across global payroll lifecycle.

You will lead payroll implementations, manage processing cycles, and maintain integration with HRIS/Finance systems via APIs or file interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, IS, or related field.
• 3–5+ years hands-on experience with ADP payroll platforms (Workforce Now, GlobalView, Vantage, or Celergo).
• Strong understanding of gross-to-net processing, tax withholding, garnishments, and multi-state payroll.
• Experience with payroll interfaces (SFTP, APIs, middleware).
• Knowledge of payroll compliance (IRS/state/local).
• Strong Excel and data reconciliation skills; ability to resolve payroll issues.
• Excellent communication to explain payroll concepts to non-payroll stakeholders.

• Provide production support including break-fix and root-cause analysis.
• Stay current on ADP releases and evaluate impact on configurations.

Job Summary

The ADP Payroll Consultant is responsible for the configuration, implementation, testing, and ongoing support of ADP payroll platforms (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, ADP GlobalView, ADP Vantage, or ADP Celergo). This role partners with HR and Finance stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing, and supports system enhancements, integrations, and regulatory updates across the payroll lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain ADP payroll platforms, including pay groups, earnings/deductions codes, tax setups, and general ledger mapping.
• Lead or support end-to-end payroll implementations, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, parallel testing, and go-live cutover.
• Manage payroll processing cycles, ensuring accuracy of gross‑to‑net calculations, off-cycle payments, retroactive adjustments, and year‑end processing (W‑2s, T4s, etc., as applicable).
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations between ADP and other HR/Finance systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Time & Attendance systems) via APIs or file‑based interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local payroll tax regulations, and manage updates related to legislative or regulatory changes.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams to resolve payroll discrepancies, garnishments, benefits deductions, and tax filing issues.
• Develop and maintain payroll process documentation, SOPs, and configuration workbooks.
• Support audits (internal/external) by providing payroll data, reconciliations, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), parallel runs, and post-go-live hypercare support.
• Provide production support, including break‑fix, root‑cause analysis, and enhancement recommendations.
• Stay current on ADP platform releases and evaluate impact on existing configurations and processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in human resources, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience with ADP payroll platforms (Workforce Now, GlobalView, Vantage, or Celergo).
• Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals: gross‑to‑net processing, tax withholding, garnishments, benefits deductions, and multi‑state/multi‑country payroll (as applicable).
• Experience with payroll interfaces/integrations (SFTP, APIs, middleware) between ADP and HRIS/Finance systems.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance requirements (FLSA, IRS regulations, state/local tax law, or international equivalents).
• Strong Excel/data reconciliation skills; experience with payroll audits and error resolution.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll concepts to non‑payroll stakeholder.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with global/multi‑country payroll via ADP GlobalView or Celergo.
• Experience integrating ADP with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central or other core HRIS platforms.
