Job summary

Sri Venkateswara College Of Engineering is seeking a dedicated admissions professional to drive student recruitment and enrolment across Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states. The role involves outreach, counselling, and building partnerships with schools and coaching centres.

The candidate will manage the admissions lifecycle, coordinate campus visits and events, and ensure the college meets its annual enrolment targets while delivering a positive applicant experience.

Qualifications

• Executive: 2-4 years of experience in admissions, student recruitment, education sales, counselling or business develoment.
• Manager : 5-8 years of experience in higher education admissions, outreach, institutional partnerships or student recruitment.
• Experience in engineering colleges, universities, EdTech, business schools or educational institutions is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive student recruitment and enrolment by executing admissions outreach, counselling prospective students and parents, building strategic relationship with schools, coaching centres and key influencers, and supporting the College - SVCE's annual admissions target across Tamil Nadu and other key markets.
• Plan and execute school outreach programmes, career guidance sessions, education fairs and admission campaigns across Tamil Nadu and key neighbouring states;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, principals, counsellors, coaching centres, and educational partners to enhance SVCE's outreach
• Counsel prospective students and parents on academic programmes, admission process, scholarships, placement and career opportunities;
• Manage the complete admissions lifecycle, including enquiry handling, lead nurturing, follow-ups, application processing, counselling and enrolment through CRM;
• Coordinate campus visits, Open House events, webinars and department interaction sessions for prospective students;
• Track admissions performance, prepare periodic reports, maintain accurate CRM records and achieve assigned enrolment targets while ensuring an exceptional applicant experience.
