Key Responsibilities

• Contact prospective students and leads through telephone calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
• Understand candidates educational backgrounds, career goals, examination plans, and training requirements before recommending suitable courses.
• Explain course details, eligibility requirements, syllabus, class schedules, learning modes, fees, offers, study materials, examinations, and other programme benefits clearly.
• Counsel prospective students and guide them in selecting the most appropriate programme according to their academic and career objectives.
• Follow up regularly with enquiries and interested candidates to support timely admission conversion.
• Handle incoming calls, walk-in enquiries, website leads, social media enquiries, and referrals professionally.
• Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly admission, follow-up, and revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate lead information, counselling notes, follow-up status, payment details, and admission records in the CRM or other designated systems.
• Assist students with application forms, document submission, fee payment, registration, and admission formalities.
• Coordinate with the academic, accounts, technical support, and course coordination teams to provide accurate information and resolve candidate queries.
• Share payment links, admission confirmations, receipts, class schedules, and onboarding information with enrolled students.
• Follow up on pending documents, incomplete registrations, instalment payments, and other admission-related requirements.
• Maintain positive relationships with prospective and enrolled students while ensuring professional and ethical counselling practices.
• Collect feedback from candidates, identify common admission concerns, and report market insights and competitor information to the management.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering enquiries, calls, follow-ups, conversions, admissions, fee collections, and pending leads.

Eligibility Criteria

• Any undergraduate or postgraduate degree is required.
• Previous experience in educational counselling, admissions, telesales, telecalling, customer service, or business development will be preferred.
• Freshers with excellent communication and convincing skills may apply.
• Experience in the education, EdTech, coaching institute, or competitive-examination training industry will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Tamil is mandatory; good communication skills in English are preferred.
