Role Description

The Admission Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The consultant will guide prospective students and families through the entire admission process, including counseling, university and course selection, application form completion, and documentation support. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and explaining eligibility, admission requirements, and timelines clearly. The role involves coordinating with universities and internal teams, following up with leads, and maintaining accurate records of student interactions and application status. The consultant will also participate in student recruitment activities such as events, seminars, and workshops, and may assist in training sessions and knowledge-sharing with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with students, families, and institutional partners.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle queries, provide guidance, and maintain a supportive, professional demeanor.
• Experience in Student Recruiting, including lead follow-up, counseling prospective applicants, and supporting enrollment targets.
• Background in Training, such as mentoring team members, conducting briefings, or supporting student information sessions.
• Sales skills, including consultative selling, relationship-building, and converting inquiries into successful admissions.
• Knowledge of international education systems, admission and visa processes will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM or student management tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; specialization in Education, Business, or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail.
