Role Description

The Educational Counselor will provide individualized guidance to students exploring study opportunities abroad, helping them select suitable countries, universities, and programs based on their interests, academic background, and career goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining admission and visa requirements, assisting with applications, and coordinating documentation to ensure timely and accurate submissions. The role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of international education systems, entry criteria, scholarship options, and intakes across multiple destinations, while communicating clearly with students and families. The Educational Counselor will also collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, participate in student outreach activities, and uphold ethical counseling standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Student Counseling skills for guiding learners through course and university selection.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to explain procedures, requirements, and options clearly to students and families.
• Candidates should possess solid Career Counseling and Education-related skills to align study choices with long-term academic and professional pathways.
• Relevant experience in overseas education consulting, admissions, or student advisory services is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Familiarity with international education systems, visa processes, and scholarship opportunities for major study destinations is an advantage.
