Job description

Rahee Natural Seeds Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and well-organized Administrative Officer to manage daily operations at the Satara Head Office. This role is important to keep the office and production activities running smoothly. The officer will be the main contact between management and the field, production, and sales teams. They will handle all administrative and purchasing tasks and make sure the company’s facilities and supplies are managed efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities are categorized into three core areas:

1. General Administration & Staff Coordination
  • Head Office Management: Serve as the chief administrator for the Satara Head Office, ensuring the office environment is maintained, organized, and fully operational.
  • Staff Coordination: Manage all administrative responsibilities pertaining to the Head Office staff and the Production team, acting as the main point of contact for operational queries and requirements.
  • Field Visit and coordination: Conduct periodic field visits (at 15-day intervals) to the production areas to monitor administrative needs, observe operational challenges, and ensure field staff adherence to procedures.
2. Inventory & Logistics Management
  • Inventory Planning: Take ownership of the planning, forecasting, and maintenance of all essential production inventory, including packing materials and machinery.
  • Stock Control: Implement and manage a robust inventory system to prevent stockouts or overstocking of crucial production and office supplies.
3. Procurement & Infrastructure Management
  • Purchasing Management: Serve as the Purchasing Officer, responsible for the timely and budget-compliant acquisition of all required materials and assets.
  • Procurement Scope: The primary purchasing responsibilities include:
  • Office Consumables: Stationery and general office supplies.
  • Machinery & Equipment: Production machinery and operational tools.
  • Office Electronics: All essential electric components and IT equipment for the office.
  • Vehicles & Transport: Managing the purchase and maintenance of company vehicles.
  • Infrastructure Decisions: Participate in the primary decision-making process related to essential infrastructure needs and upgrades (e.g., office space, godown facilities) to ensure the company's long‑term operational requirements are met.

4. Manage and pay all monthly bills like electricity, wifi, rent, and contractor payments on time
