Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to independently lead production operations and regulatory compliance for our nutraceutical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will bridge shop-floor production management with FSSAI and allied regulatory requirements, ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Independently manage end-to-end production activities planning, scheduling, batch execution, and output monitoring
• Ensure production runs meet quality, quantity, and timeline targets
• Coordinate with QA/QC, warehouse, and procurement teams for uninterrupted production flow
• Monitor GMP (Schedule 4) compliance on the shop floor

Regulatory Affairs

• Independently handle all FSSAI-related regulatory matters licensing, renewals, inspections, and query responses
• Ensure product formulations, labels, and claims comply with FSSAI regulations and other applicable food/supplement laws
• Liaise directly with FSSAI and other government departments/authorities for approvals, audits, and compliance matters
• Track regulatory changes and update internal processes/documentation accordingly

Cross-Functional & Departmental Coordination

• Act as the key liaison between production, regulatory, quality, and external government departments
• Coordinate with multiple internal departments to ensure regulatory and production requirements are aligned
• Represent the company in interactions with FSSAI officials and other statutory bodies

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in the nutraceutical/health supplement/food industry
• Proven, independent experience handling FSSAI regulatory compliance (licensing, audits, inspections)
• Hands-on experience managing complete production operations in a manufacturing setup
• Demonstrated experience liaising with FSSAI and other regulatory/government departments
• Strong understanding of GMP, labelling regulations, and quality systems
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Food Technology, or related field (preferred)
