Job summary

Credense Medical Billing seeks a hands-on AR Team Lead to supervise a team of AR callers in Hyderabad. The role focuses on leading collections, analyzing aging, and improving denials strategies while ensuring adherence to payer guidelines and high-quality performance.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in US healthcare RCM, strong leadership, and the ability to coach the team, drive accountability, and deliver results. This is a senior, hands-on leadership position based in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in US healthcare RCM and AR follow-up.
• At least 12 years of experience as an AR Team Lead or Senior AR professional.
• Strong knowledge of claim denials, appeals, insurance follow-up, aging analysis, and payer guidelines.
• Experience handling Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, and managed-care payers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage team performance and maintain accountability.
• Working knowledge of EHR/PM systems such as NextGen, eClinicalWorks, Athena, AdvancedMD, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Experience in cardiology, physical therapy, behavioral health, or multispecialty billing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of AR callers.
• Assign daily workloads and monitor productivity, quality, and collections.
• Review aging reports, identify trends, and develop effective collection strategies.
• Analyze denials, underpayments, payer issues, and unresolved high-value accounts.
• Ensure timely follow-up on claims across all aging buckets.
• Conduct daily huddles and provide clear action plans to the team.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and overall team discipline.
• Provide training, coaching, feedback, and performance improvement plans when required.
• Review team documentation and ensure accurate follow-up notes.
• Prepare daily and weekly performance reports for management.
• Escalate payer, system, credentialing, authorization, and coding issues appropriately.
• Support client meetings by preparing accurate data and account updates.
• Ensure productivity, quality, and collection targets are consistently achieved.
