Job summary

Navkar Business Services in Mumbai invites an Accounts Receivable Executive to manage financial, administrative, and clerical duties, processing payments, posting receipts, and reconciling ledgers.

You will generate monthly statements, coordinate with banking partners, and support revenue assurance while ensuring accuracy and timely collection. Candidates should have AR experience, strong Excel/SAP/Yardi skills, and good English communication; commerce degree acceptable.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Executive, Manager or accountant.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and collection regulations.
• Ability to post, reconcile and manage current and outstanding receivables with strong data entry skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP software such as Yardi, SAP.
• Proficiency in English with decent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and record accounts and incoming payments per company policy, managing daily AR transactions.
• Reconcile AR statements and resolve discrepancies while addressing client issues promptly.
• Generate monthly AR statements and reports detailing AR status and outstanding balances.
• Archive receipts with supporting documents and follow up with delinquent customers; escalate bad debts to Legal as needed.

Position : Accounts Receivable Executive

Job brief

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Executive to manage financial, administrative, and clerical responsibilities. This role involves processing and monitoring incoming payments, ensuring accurate posting and reconciliation of receipts, and supporting revenue assurance by coordinating with banking partners and internal teams.

Responsibilities :

• Process and record accounts and incoming payments in accordance with company policies, while managing daily financial transactions by verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and accurately recording accounts receivable data.
• Reconcile accounts receivable statements to ensure accurate posting to customer accounts, while identifying and resolving discrepancies and addressing client issues promptly.
• Generate monthly statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status with reason for outstanding receivables balances.
• Accurately record and archive all receipts along with supporting documents such as money orders, checks, and certified funds. Follow up with delinquent customers according to company policy and elevate bad debts to the Legal Department as necessary.

Requirements and skills :

• Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Executive, Accounts Receivable Manager or accountant
• Understanding of basic accounting principles, fair practices and collection regulations
• Demonstrated ability to accurately post, reconcile, and manage current and outstanding receivables, with strong data entry skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in managing outstanding receivable spreadsheets in Excel and experienced with accounting software such as Yardi, SAP, or web-based ERP systems.
• Proficiency in English with decent communication skills

Education Qualification

• Bachelor Degree in commerce, Banking or IPCC/CMA Dropouts. Or Matriculate with 3 and more year of experience as Account Receivable Executive.
