We are looking for an Accounts Receivable & Billing Analyst to support our US staffing finance operations from our offshore team in Bangalore. This role is primarily responsible for timesheet validation, invoicing, and accounts receivable activities, with exposure to financial reporting. The ideal candidate comes from a US staffing background and is comfortable working with billing systems, VMS portals, and accounting tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate approved timesheets from various VMS portals
- Cross-check timesheet data with JobDiva for billing accuracy
- Generate, review, and raise client invoices in a timely manner
- Post invoices and maintain billing records in QuickBooks
- Ensure accuracy of bill rates, hours, and billing terms as per contracts
- Maintain AR trackers and support basic revenue reconciliation
- Identify and flag billing discrepancies for resolution
- Maintain strong documentation and audit-ready billing records
- Support month-end and periodic billing close activities
Reporting & Analytics (Highly Preferred)
- Prepare Headcount, Revenue, and Billing summary reports
- Maintain and update Excel-based financial trackers and dashboards
- Assist finance leadership with ad-hoc reporting requests
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Billing within US Staffing
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (invoicing and AR functions)
- Working knowledge of VMS-based billing processes
- Experience using JobDiva or similar ATS for billing reference
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Highly Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience preparing Headcount and Revenue reports
- Exposure to US staffing pay/bill structures (W2, C2C, 1099)
- Prior experience supporting multi-client billing environments
- Basic understanding of revenue recognition concepts
