Itcportal is seeking an experienced Finance Operations professional to act as the SME for P2P policy, processes, and systems. You will design and deliver effective process strategies to deliver high-quality finance operations, while managing the accounts payable team and building strong relationships with customers.

The role focuses on continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and developing junior team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting and performance.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical and operationalSubject Matter Expert (SME) for P2P policy, processes, and systems.
• Design and delivereffective, creative process strategies and best practices to deliver highquality Finance operations.
• Manages and supervisesthe accounts payable department and staff in the organisation.
• Responsible forgenerating, maintaining and managing strong relationships with the customer andfulfilling customer Finance ops needs within stipulated time.
• Leads continuous improvement ofservices in quality and effectiveness, isolates problem trends and ensurestroubleshooting efforts are completed for recurring problems until permanentsolutions are found.
• Identifying gaps andsuggesting suitable areas for improvement.
• Responsible for team’sperformance and growth.
• Keeping record of alltransactions within the company and external vendors and contractors.
• Responsible forensuring customer and management reporting & proactive projection ofchallenges and probable solutions.
• Organize knowledgesharing sessions both within the team and cross teams.
• Assist in quarterlyreviews and periodic audits and prepare audit schedules as necessary.
• Reviews GLdistribution of AP transactions to ensure accounting and reporting accuracy.
