Job summary

Bonhoeffer Machines Pvt Ltd in Delhi is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage vendor invoices, bookings, and payments with strict GST and TDS compliance. The role requires meticulous reconciliation of vendor ledgers and timely month-end close support.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Tally or SAP, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to resolving invoice queries with internal teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments with supporting docs.
• Manage AP transactions, invoice booking and vendor ledgers.
• Prepare vendor payment schedules and obtain approvals.
• Verify invoices for GST compliance and tax applicability.
• Calculate TDS deductions and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain GST, TDS, invoices, debit/credit notes and payment vouchers.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Role & responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and ensure timely and accurate payments.


• Manage accounts payable transactions, invoice booking, payment processing, and vendor ledger reconciliation.


• Prepare vendor payment schedules and coordinate with internal teams for approvals.


• Verify invoices for GST compliance, tax applicability, and calculation accuracy.


• Calculate TDS deductions as per applicable provisions and coordinate for timely payments and compliance.


• Maintain records of GST, TDS, invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and payment vouchers.


• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies in outstanding balances.


• Monitor accounts payable ageing and follow up on pending invoices and payments.


• Assist with month-end closing, accounts-related reporting, audits, and statutory documentation.


• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment-related queries.

Preferred candidate profile

• Practical knowledge of GST, invoice verification, Input Tax Credit (ITC), and GST documentation.


• Working knowledge of TDS provisions, deduction calculations, applicable sections, and compliance.


• Strong MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS, IF formulas, filters, and data reconciliation.


• Good understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.


• Hands‑on experience with accounting software or ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, or similar tools.


• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.


• Good communication and coordination skills.
