Job summary

Vibcare Pharma Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experienced Accounts Officer to manage day-to-day plant accounting, GST/TDS compliance, and vendor reconciliations at a WHO-GMP certified facility.

You will oversee invoicing, tax filings, and routine financial reporting under the finance team. The role requires 4 years of core accounting in manufacturing, with expertise in GST, TDS, ITC reconciliations, e-invoicing, and ERP/Tally Prime.

Qualifications

• 4 years of core accounting and taxation experience in a manufacturing plant (pharma background preferred).
• Proficiency in GST and TDS compliance including 2A/2B reconciliations and ITC handling.
• Proficient in ERP environments and Tally Prime; advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables).
• Fluent written and verbal communication in Hindi and English.

Responsibilities

• GST compliance: file monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B; 2A/2B ITC reconciliation; e-invoicing/e-way bill generation.
• TDS/TCS: calculate and deduct on vendor payments; reconcile liabilities; file 24Q/26Q; generate Form 16/16A.
• Ledger scrutiny: review GL entries, verify balances, reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.
• Vendor management: verify invoices against POs/GRN; process bills; ensure timely payments.
• Stock accounting: coordinate with warehouse; verify physical inventory; issue credit/debit notes.
• Audit support: prepare audit schedules; assist in GSTR-9/9C; provide documentation to auditors.
• MIS reporting: prepare monthly cash flow, vendor ageing analyses, plant expenditure; use Excel extensively.
• Internal coordination: liaise with Stores, Purchase, and QA for bill clearance and documentation.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to manage day-to-day plant accounting, statutory compliance, and vendor reconciliations at our WHO-GMP certified manufacturing facility. You will oversee invoicing, tax filings, and routine financial reporting under the guidance of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• GST Compliance: Prepare and file monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns, perform regular 2A/2B ITC reconciliation, and handle e-invoicing and e-way bill generation.
• TDS Operations: Calculate and deduct TDS/TCS on vendor payments, reconcile monthly liabilities, and assist in filing 24Q/26Q returns and generating Form 16/16A.
• Ledger Scrutiny: Review general ledger entries, verify debit/credit balances, and reconcile bank statements, party accounts, and advance payments regularly.
• Vendor Management: Verify raw material and packing material invoices against purchase orders and GRN, process vendor bills, and manage timely vendor payments.
• Stock Accounting: Coordinate with the warehouse to verify physical inventory records, handle credit/debit note issuance, and cross-check store consumption data.
• Audit Preparation: Prepare audit schedules, assist in annual GSTR-9/9C preparations, and support internal and statutory auditors with required documentation.
• MIS Reporting: Prepare monthly cash flow statements, vendor ageing analyses, and plant expenditure summaries using advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Internal Coordination: Follow up with Stores, Purchase, and QA departments for bill clearance, query resolution, and error-free financial documentation.

Requirements

• Experience: 4 years of core accounting and taxation experience in a manufacturing plant (pharma background preferred).
• Education: B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA / MBA (Finance).
• Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, 2A/2B reconciliation, and Indian accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP / Tally Prime and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables).
  • Working knowledge of plant documentation, GRN, e-way bills, and factory compliance.
  • Effective written and verbal communication in Hindi & English.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Disciplined with strong follow-up and task ownership.
• Capable of managing month-end deadlines under minimal supervision.

(A short practical test on Excel and GST/TDS will be conducted.)
