Job summary

Happilo International seeks a detail-oriented Sr. Executive - Plant Finance to manage plant-level accounting, vendor reconciliations, and statutory compliance.

You will coordinate with plant operations, procurement, warehouse, and central finance to ensure accurate accounting and timely payments. The role requires 2–5 years of plant finance experience, working knowledge of GST, TDS, SAP, and strong Excel/reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in plant finance, accounts, or accounting operations in a manufacturing setting.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, accounts payable and vendor reconciliation.
• Practical exposure to SAP, preferably in purchase accounting and AP processes.
• Experience coordinating with plant operations, procurement, warehouse, and central finance teams.
• Understanding GRN processes, invoice matching, and inventory accounting documentation.
• Strong MS Excel and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant-level accounting activities and ensure timely recording of transactions.
• Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in vendor ledgers.
• Ensure GST and TDS compliance and maintain proper documentation.
• Coordinate accounts payable, invoice verification, payment processing, and aging.
• Verify purchase invoices against POs, supporting docs, and approvals.
• Reconcile GRNs with POs, vendor invoices, and warehouse records.
• Maintain accurate plant financial records and support audit activities.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors and close observations timely.
• Collaborate with plant operations, procurement, warehouse, and central finance teams.
• Utilize SAP for invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Prepare MIS and reports on AP, vendor balances, and GRN mismatches.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Executive - Plant Finance to manage plant-level accounting activities, vendor reconciliations, statutory compliance, and financial documentation. The role involves close coordination with plant operations, procurement, warehouse, and the central finance team to ensure accurate accounting, timely payments, and compliance with applicable statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• GST & TDS Compliance: Ensure accurate GST and TDS accounting, verification, documentation, and timely compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
• Vendor Reconciliation: Perform regular vendor ledger reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and ensure outstanding balances are accurately maintained.
• Accounts Payable: Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice verification, payment processing coordination, and monitoring of outstanding vendor payments.
• Purchase Invoice Accounting: Verify purchase invoices against purchase orders, supporting documents, and applicable approval workflows before accounting.
• GRN Reconciliation: Reconcile Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) with purchase orders, vendor invoices, and warehouse records to identify and resolve mismatches.
• Plant Accounting: Maintain accurate plant-level financial records and ensure timely recording of transactions in the accounting system.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors, provide supporting documents, and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with plant operations, procurement, warehouse, and central finance teams to resolve accounting and documentation issues.
• SAP Operations: Use SAP for invoice processing, vendor account reconciliation, purchase accounting, and financial reporting.
• MIS & Reporting: Prepare periodic reports on accounts payable, vendor outstanding balances, GRN mismatches, and other plant finance activities.
• Process Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, company policies, approval processes, and accounting procedures.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in plant finance, accounts, or accounting operations within a manufacturing plant or factory.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, accounts payable, purchase invoice accounting, and vendor reconciliation.
• Practical exposure to SAP, preferably in purchase accounting and accounts payable processes.
• Experience coordinating with plant operations, procurement, warehouse, and central finance teams.
• Understanding of GRN processes, invoice matching, and inventory-related accounting documentation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
