Job description

We are looking for an Accounts Officer to handle day-to-day accounting work and maintain proper books and records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping.
• Working on Tally ERP for accounting and ledger maintenance.
• Preparing regular MIS reports.
• Maintaining and monitoring cost centres and expense details.
• Carrying out bank, ledger and other account reconciliations.
• Checking invoices, payments, receipts and supporting documents.
• Maintaining proper records of accounting transactions.
• Assisting with monthly closing and preparation of accounts.
• Coordinating with auditors and providing documents/information as required.
• Following up on outstanding entries and resolving discrepancies in accounts.

Requirements:

• Graduate, preferably in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounts.
• Good working knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Excel.
• Should have a good understanding of basic accounting.
• Experience in MIS, cost centre accounting and reconciliations.
• Should be organised, accurate and able to handle work independently.
