Job summary

Virtute Construction Llp is seeking an Accounts Executive to handle day-to-day accounting for construction projects in Bengaluru. The role focuses on maintaining ledgers, reconciling banks, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with GST and TDS while supporting monthly closings and audits.

You will coordinate with project teams for bill verification, prepare MIS reports, and assist in financial planning and budgeting.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in the construction industry.
• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance as qualification.
• Proficient in Tally Prime/ERP and Advanced MS Excel.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS and reconciliation.
• Vendor/subcontractor accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries, vouchers, invoices, receipts and payments.
• Manage Labour Compliances, Contractor and Sub Contractor Payment including RA bills and supporting documents.
• Maintain ledgers, bank reconciliation and outstanding reports.
• Handle GST, TDS and basic statutory compliance.
• Prepare MIS reports and project-wise expense and cost statements.
• Coordinate with project/site teams for bill verification and approvals.
• Provide in monthly closing, audits and financial documentation, Financial Statements.
• Basic Financial Planning and Fund Management.
• Budget Controlling, Reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Payroll Processing.
• Handle End to End Accounting Operations including Payable and Receivables and Bank Reconciliation Reports.
