Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the entire Accounts & Finance Department.
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including receivables and payables.
• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash-flow statements.
• Plan and manage cash flow to ensure timely payments.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure timely closure of monthly and yearly accounts.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Accounts Head who can independently manage the complete Accounts & Finance Department. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, cash-flow management, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and team handling.

The candidate should be active, solution-oriented, and capable of identifying financial/accounting issues and providing timely solutions to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the entire Accounts & Finance Department.
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including receivables, payables, billing, expenses, bank transactions, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash-flow statements.
• Plan and manage cash flow to ensure timely payments and efficient utilization of funds.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and take necessary follow-up/action.
• Prepare MIS reports, P&L, Balance Sheet, cash-flow reports, and other financial reports for management.
• Ensure accurate and timely closure of monthly and yearly accounts.
• Monitor accounting entries and ensure proper documentation and controls.
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances as applicable.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor the performance of the Accounts Department and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Identify accounting, financial, and operational issues and provide practical and timely solutions.
• Maintain strong internal financial controls and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Support management in financial planning, budgeting, and decision-making.
• Ensure proper cash, bank, and financial records are maintained.
• Take ownership of the Accounts Department and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.

Education Qualification:

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance or equivalent.
