Job summary

Bombay Hot is seeking an Accounts Head to lead the finance and accounts department in Mumbai. This strategic role ensures financial health, regulatory compliance, and robust reporting across the organization.

You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, finalize balance sheets, oversee tax compliance, and drive strong internal controls. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, with 3+ years in leadership, and strong expertise in SAP/Oracle/Tally Prime and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in commerce or related field with professional qualification (CA/CMA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Expert proficiency in ERP (SAP, Oracle, or Tally Prime) and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, high ethical standards, and GAAP/local accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of direct and indirect taxes (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax, Corporate Tax).
• Direct internal and external statutory audits by acting as the primary point of contact.
• Monitor corporate cash flows, optimize working capital, and assist senior management in budget preparation.
• Guide, mentor, and evaluate accounts executives and assistant managers to maintain high productivity.

• Finalization & Reporting: Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L accounts.
• Tax & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely filing of direct and indirect taxes (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax, Corporate Tax).
