Job summary

Zepcruit is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional in Thane, Maharashtra. You will manage invoicing, AR aging, and collections while ensuring accurate reconciliations and tax reporting to support business decisions.

The role requires 2–5 years experience in AR/revenue accounting, with strong Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Tally skills. Collaborative communication across departments is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com).
• 2–5 years in AR, revenue accounting, or sales coordination.
• Proficiency in Tally and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

Responsibilities

• Invoicing: generate and send invoices, debit/credit notes per pricing policies.
• AR management: monitor accounts, aging, receipts, and overdue collections.
• Reconciliation: reconcile ledgers, resolve discrepancies, bank reconciliations.
• Tax compliance: handle GST, TDS calculations and reporting.
• Reporting: prepare AR aging and sales variance analyses for mgmt.

Job description

• Invoice Generation: Prepare and send accurate sales invoices, debit notes, and credit memos in accordance with company pricing policies. Generate E-invoicing & E-way bills.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) Management: Monitor customer accounts, track aging, process receipts, and execute debt collection for overdue balances.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile sales ledger accounts, resolve payment discrepancies, and manage bank reconciliation.
• Tax Compliance: Handle the calculation and reporting of sales taxes, GST (Goods and Services Tax), and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) where applicable.
• Reporting: Prepare weekly/monthly AR aging reports, sales performance metrics, and variance analyses for management.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com).
• Experience: 2–5 years in AR, revenue accounting, or sales coordination.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software like Tally. Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) are highly valued.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent negotiation capabilities for collections, and effective communication across departments.
