Job summary

SANeforce is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive/Senior Accounts Executive to join their Finance & Accounts team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have 3–6 years of experience and strong knowledge of accounting processes, payroll administration, and taxation.

You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support internal audits. The role requires proficiency in Tally and MS Excel, with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Hands-on experience with accounting processes and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer invoicing and collections.
  • Calculate and deduct TDS as per applicable Income Tax regulations.
  • Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements related to PF, ESI, and Labour Laws.
  • Process monthly payroll and handle employee-related statutory deductions.
  • Maintain books of accounts in Tally.

About the Role

We are looking for a detailoriented and experienced Accounts Executive / Senior Accounts Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting processes, statutory compliance, payroll administration, and taxation. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-today accounting operations while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Management
  • Manage customer invoicing and collections.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on pending payments.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare periodic receivable aging reports and MIS reports.
TDS & Tax Compliance
  • Calculate and deduct TDS as per applicable Income Tax regulations.
  • Prepare and file TDS returns within stipulated timelines.
  • Reconcile TDS records and coordinate with auditors when required.
  • Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax requirements.
Statutory Compliance
  • Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements related to PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Labour Laws, and other applicable regulations.
  • Maintain statutory records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with government authorities, auditors, and consultants as required.
PF & Payroll Processing
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
  • Handle PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other employee-related statutory deductions.
  • Generate payroll reports and maintain employee payroll records.
  • Resolve payroll-related queries from employees.
Accounting & Financial Operations
  • Maintain books of accounts in Tally.
  • Record and reconcile journal entries, payments, receipts, and bank transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support internal and statutory audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
