ABB in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Payroll General Accounting professional to support month-end activities, payroll accounting, provisions, accruals, and reporting. You will work with SAP S/4HANA and payroll systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local instructions.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience, knowledge of Cadency (Trintech), Workday, and strong communication, with shifts flexibility and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Each day, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing record to report data. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with the relevant accounting standards.The work model for the role is: Onsite.This role is contributing to the Finance Business Function.You will be mainly accountable for:Contributing to the definition, implementation, and improvement of accounting policies relevant to your area and level of expertise.Executing established accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ABB group policies and local instructions.Ability to demonstrate your experience in accounting.Preparing & Reviewing Balance sheet account reconciliations.Should have working knowledge in Cadency (Trintech), Work Day, SAP, S4Hana.Performing Month-end activities such as Payroll accounting, Provisions, Accruals, Salary cost accounting and recording financial transactions.Producing reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations, statements of sourcing.Handling Audit Quires.Recommend changes of process standards and procedures to improve the timely performance of process activities.
