Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Surat, Gujarat, is seeking an experienced accounting/finance professional to manage daily accounting operations, prepare financial statements, and support month-end close. You will work with Odoo ERP to generate reports and dashboards and coordinate with IT for ERP optimizations.

The role requires hands-on accounting experience (2–4 years) in an SME setting and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Odoo expertise is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally in an SME environment.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (mandatory).

Accounting & Finance

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable general ledger and bank reconciliations.

• Manage master data in odoo, database back up and access controls
• Generate financial reports and dashboards from Odoo.
• Collaborate with IT or external vendors for troubleshooting Odoo-related issues.
• Support process automation and data accuracy across Odoo modules.

Ad Hoc & Cross-Functional Tasks

• Provide general administrative and IT support, such as setting up user accounts, managing software tools, setting up hardware or liaising with IT service providers
• Administer and maintain systems, servers, firewalls and network security.
• Assist in data migration, system backups and document management.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives across departments.
